We are a volunteer fire department that has been hosting this ice fishing derby for around 40 years. We have been growing in size in our family fun event and we want to continue to improve this event by matching the growing interest. This specific fundraiser encourages members of the community to get outside for the weekend to not only fish but to snowshoe, ice skate, and enjoy nature.

The money we raise from this ice fishing derby helps us to fund new equipment purchases to continue to keep our community safe.Recently we were able to purchase a rescue boat from the money raised during this fundraiser as well as floatation jackets, floatation vests, ropes, and other water rescue equipment. With this purchase we were able to increase the safety of water sports this past summer and in the future.

We raise money for this event through ice fishing derby registration and raffles. Winners of the ice fishing derby win prizes as well. We thank you for your time and consideration and hope to hear from you soon.
