Washington Presbyterian Church's motto is:  work hard to serve others.  This is impressive for a church membership of seventy!  each year we host an Apple Festival.  Last year we raised $28000, which went to mission within our comunity.  These programs include:  providing medical support and supplies to those who do not have insurance, supplies and support to repair homes, purchase school supplies, provide programs to support high risk youth, and camp scholarships.  During the Apple Festival there is music, food, and fun for all ages.  Church members make homemade apple cider, apple butter, fried apple pies, baked and canned goods, crafts, rib and barbecue lunch, and a silent auction.
