Description

Goal:

Our goal is to host a fundraiser which will finance the enhancement of the experience of children and families by updating our classrooms with upgraded furnishings.

Children learn best in an environment that is set up for their success. A successful learning environment should be safe, age appropriate, and engaging. Many of our current furnishings need to be replaced and upgraded in order for us to ensure a safe and successful learning environment for all children.

About us:

The Children’s Ark at St. George’s is a licensed, non-profit 503(c)b early childhood education center located in Delaware County Pennsylvania. The Children’s Ark opened its doors in 1995 and currently provides child care and educational services for children ranging in age from infancy to six years old. Our facility has eight classrooms and two playgrounds. Our organization currently provides services to approximately 75 local families with roughly 90 children as well as employment for our 30 staff members. Since the Ark opened in 1995, it has become a pillar in the community. The Ark is renowned for the exceptional level of education, care, and dedication that we provide to the community.
