This fall, in conjunction with our new Wear in the World? exhibition, the World Awareness Children’s Museum is planning a party for our collections. The art, clothing, and beautiful accessories that spend their days in the dark, lonely, storage room need a night out for a good time!
Arts Alive! Food, Fun, and Fashion will be held on Sunday, October 27th from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Surfside on the Lake Inn and Suites in Lake George. Exquisite textile art, clothes and accessories will be on display while revelers enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a fabulous international fashion show. A silent auction will feature works and clothing by local artists as well as opportunities for a variety of “art” experiences such as the Art of Wine, the Art of Theater, the Art of Drawing Classes, and more.
New this year will be a separate activity and game room for children to enjoy during the event, hosted in part by the Glens Falls High School International Club and Museum staff.
