Arundel Rivers Federation's Half Shell event is our largest annual fundraiser. This event celebrates that many people that cherish the South, West and Rhode Rivers. Our annual State of the Rivers Report detailing about the health of the rivers is unveiled during the main presentation. The event raises approximately 20% of the organizations annual funds. The event directly supports our in the ground restoration and clean water work. Arundel Rivers Federation serves as the Riverkeeper organization for the South, West and Rhode Rivers. Our Riverkeeper acts as the eyes, ears and voice for the rivers. This event celebrates our cutting edge restoration work (we worked on 8+ projects in 2021 alone), our Bay Loving Landscapes native gardening program, our advocacy work, enforcement and clean water mission. In the summertime, we monitor 20+ beaches for bacteria to inform citizens about if it is safe to swim or not. This event combines all of our hard work and welcomes the community to join us.
