I am writing to you on behalf of the Sterling Elementary School PTA to request a donation of a service or an item for our fourth silent auction, which will be held online from Monday, April 4th through Friday, April 8th.  This event is one of our PTA’s primary fundraisers.  We are a Title 1 school, with 60+% of our students on free and reduced lunch.  We as a PTA raise money throughout the year to provide our students and staff with as many opportunities as we can fund.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, we will hold the auction virtually through an online third-party company.  In the past, we have auctioned off gift cards, tickets, merchandise, gift baskets, and services generously donated by businesses like yours.  Money raised at this event helps to fund field trips and to provide school supplies for students in need.  It also enables funding for school assembly events and unbudgeted classroom items, as well as providing the teachers and staff with a Teacher Appreciation Week that they so deserve.

We would greatly appreciate any donation that you can offer. In acknowledgement of your generosity we will recognize your contribution on social media, as well as  on our event website which will reach the families of all students enrolled in our school, in addition to local community members who wish to participate in the auction.  The PTA's tax exempt ID number is 54-1177246.
