Description

On February 11, 2022, Aspen Elementary School will have its first Jogathon called “Aspen Strong”. The Parent Faculty Association (PFA) is excited to bring an event to campus that promotes social-emotional well-being, physical fitness, inclusion, and community. After 18 months of remote learning and modified school schedules, we want to celebrate the return to campus and in person learning with a fun and exciting event. The purpose of this event is to raise money for specialists at the school. Our PE, art, dance and computer teachers are paid for by the PFA. The school district doesn’t cover these costs. In the past, PFA was able to raise money to create a computer lab for our students, supply the classrooms with promethean boards, install a sound system in the MPR, and have hydration stations installed around campus. One hundred percent of these proceeds goes to improve Aspen elementary school. The success of this event will depend on generous donations from businesses like yours.
