Hello!

I am writing for the Wylie High School Air Force JROTC Booster Club. Our 7th Annual WHS AF JROTC Fundraiser Auction will be online in March 2024 and will be here before we know it! 

We have historically had over 500 participants!  

Now is the time of year that we ask our community partners for help to make this event as successful as it can be. Your generosity will help us continue to provide programs, supplies, and the hard working AF JROTC cadets!!!

The JROTC program is designed to teach high school students the value of citizenship, leadership, service to the community, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment, while instilling in them self-esteem, teamwork, and self discipline. 

The mission of the WHS AF JROTC is to “Develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community." AF JROTC provides leadership training, an aerospace science program, and STEM program for high school students. At Wylie High School, this program fosters leadership and community service in these young men and women. The cadets are our future leaders of this great country! This program benefits every member of the Wylie High School family, as well as the entire community, through their tireless volunteer service efforts, which are too endless to list. 

As the WHS AF JROTC Booster Club, we support the program with food when cadets work for the community and the school, equipment for their competitions, and money for entrance fees and travel expenses for conferences, educational field trips, drill team, and fitness competitions, and so much more. We also give scholarships to several deserving senior cadets every year!!!

Past donations from our community partners have included hotel stays, photo packages, golf excursions, gift cards, sports and other events, entertainment and amusement park tickets, gift baskets, and much more! Any gift you believe would be appropriate to donate to our auction would be greatly appreciated. Alternatively, we also gratefully accept monetary donations and sponsorships. All donors are recognized during our event and throughout the year as community partners. We are happy to pick up your donation at your convenience.  

As a non-profit organization, IRS 501(c)(3) TAX ID # 30-0163607, we are happy to submit our W9 for your records by request.
