Description

Roosevelt Elementary School PTA is a 501(c)3 organization supporting a public school located in San Leandro, CA. We are hosting our annual auction on April 26, 2025. This event has historically been our largest fundraiser of the year. We expect approximately 200 people in attendance and additional supporters through an online auction. The funds we raise will support enrichment programs in reading and math, enhance language accessibility, and support additional teacher resources, outdoor education and STEAM activities for our kids.

Roosevelt Elementary is part of the San Leandro Unified School District (SLUSD) and is the only SLUSD school that does not receive Title I federal funding for additional resources and assistance to bridge the educational achievement gap and ensure quality education for all students. However, nearly one-third of our 500-member student body is socioeconomically disadvantaged, compounding the barriers to providing for the students that need the most support. The Roosevelt PTA works to fill that large financial gap to ensure that all of our students have the resources and tools they need to succeed in school.
