Every spring The Actors' Gang holds an online auction to benefit its Education Department which serves more than 2,500 kids annually ages 8 - 18 in the greater Los Angeles area. Most of the students are in Title I schools, are BIPOC and have financial challenges. These workshops provide an opportunity to learn what's being taught in the classroom in a different way. Students are also provided an opportunity to develop soft skills that so many of us take for granted like teamwork, empathy, critical thinking, problem solving and communicaiton.  Before and after surveys taken by the students show that 74% understand the material better after the workshops.
