Description

The Autism Society Inland Empire's Autism Family Festival & Acceptance Walk is the Inland Empire’s largest Autism event for resources in the community. Our goal is to empower families with knowledge as well as highlight some of the abilities of children and adults with autism. Our annual walk also raises awareness and much needed funds to provide vital programs and services to our autism families. All - 100% of funds raised through the Walk goes directly back into the organization to help provide resources and support to our autism community.

The Walk will feature a 5K Walk/Race and Kid's Zone filled with fun for the whole family, including inflatable attractions, crafts, characters, food trucks, vendor booths for Autism Awareness merchandise, a Resource Fair and more! The event also features “The Marketplace”- an opportunity for young people with Autism to practice owning their own business in a safe environment.

Join us for an amazing day of community that will improve the lives of children & adults with autism. Register your family, donate, volunteer, or sponsor the Walk today!  Registration for the Walk starts at only $15. Children and individuals with Autism are FREE!

We hope to see you there!

About the Autism Society Inland Empire

The Autism Society Inland Empire’s mission is to create connections, empowering everyone in the Autism community with the resources needed to live fully. The Autism Society currently serves families across both Riverside and San Bernardino Counties in the Inland Empire. Currently, there are over 17,500 children and adults combined between both regions who need support and education on the many issues our families face. First established in 1986, we provide critical programs and services for children and adults with Autism and their family members to empower, support, and help them be fully included in the community.

About Autism

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a complex neurological and developmental disorder that begins early in life and affects how a person acts and interacts with others, communicates, and learns. Autism is the fastest-growing developmental disability. In 2021, the CDC reported that 1 in 44 children in the United States has ASD. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD or Autism) is reported to occur in all racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups.
