Autism Speaks is a national organization dedicated to funding research, advocacy, and providing support for individuals and their families impacted by autism.  Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurological disorder that affects every 1 in 36 children.  It is characterized, in varying degrees, by difficulties in social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication, and repetitive behaviors.

On April 27th, 2024, we will host our 8th annual Autism Speaks’ Chip In Casino Night at City Hall in Chicago.  The event will be the culmination of World Autism Awareness Month when we celebrate and raise awareness about autism acceptance and promote inclusion for all those in the autism community. 

Since its inception in 2016, Chip In Casino Night has raised over $3.4MM, which is used to fund innovative scientific research, spread awareness, and provide support, services and advocacy for families touched by autism in the Chicagoland area.  The event will include samplings from some of Chicago’s best restaurants as well as cocktails, casino-style gaming, and a silent auction. 

Our silent auction offers a variety of attractive items which will promote local businesses, restaurants, hotels, and retail shops, as well as assist us in reaching our fundraising goals.
