Bache-Martin School’s fourth annual Bache in Bloom fundraiser will take place on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 4-7pm. Each year the event grows, and its impact on the students of Bache-Martin is invaluable.  We hope you will join us this year in making Bache in Bloom extraordinary!

Bache in Bloom is Bache-Martin’s annual fundraiser, including a silent auction, raffle and family fun night. The event is free and open to the community! Bache-Martin has been a fixture of the Fairmount, Francisville and Spring Garden communities for over a century, serving over 500 K-8 students. The diverse student body includes children from the surrounding neighborhoods, as well as students with special needs from across Philadelphia. 

Funds raised at Bache in Bloom will support the School Library, pay for in-school programming like Dance eXchange and Give & Go Athletics, help purchase school supplies for each of our 500 students, and support school-wide initiatives. Our School Library, re-opened in 2019, is one of only a handful in the School District of Philadelphia served by a dedicated staff. Funds raised at Bache in Bloom will help purchase books and help staff our library. Dance eXchange, a partnership with BalletX, is an in-school outreach program that emphasizes dance as a means to promote self-confidence, acquire life skills, and establish personal standards for excellence. Give & Go Athletics is a nonprofit that provides athletic programming to meet the emotional, educational, and physical needs of Philly youth. Give & Go runs a structured recess program that supports Bache-Martin students during one of the most challenging times of the school day.  We rely on funds raised through Bache in Bloom to continue to provide these critical programs to our students.
