Bache-Martin School’s fifth annual Bache in Bloom fundraiser will take place on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 4-7pm. Bache in Bloom is Bache-Martin’s annual fundraiser, including a silent auction, raffle and family fun night. The event is free and open to the community! 

Bache-Martin school is a public neighborhood school in the School District of Philadelphia and currently serves more than 540 K-8 students. The diverse student body includes children from the surrounding neighborhoods, as well as students from other neighborhoods who attend the school based on various special needs programs based at Bache-Martin.

Funds raised at Bache in Bloom support our school library, in-school programming, and student mutual aid. Our School Library, re-opened in 2019, is one of only a handful in the School District of Philadelphia served by a dedicated staff. Funds raised at Bache in Bloom help purchase books and staff our library. Other programs include Dance eXchange, an in-school outreach program that emphasizes dance as a means to promote self-confidence, acquire life skills, and establish personal standards for excellence, and Give & Go Athletics. Give & Go Athletics is a nonprofit providing athletic programming to meet the emotional, educational, and physical needs of Philly youth. Give & Go runs a structured recess program supporting Bache-Martin students during one of the most challenging times of the day.
