Description
The special needs school we sponsor and support, New Hope Academy, is having a Back to School social for students to be able to welcome new students and spend time with friends from last year. We will also be raising funds and taking donations for funds for the year. The Back to School Bash will take place on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the campus in Prattville, 301 Water St. We are expecting 70 students and 17 staff members to attend. Our students all come from low socio-economic backgrounds and are identified with special needs such as learning disabilities, Down Syndrome, autism, AD/HD, physical disabilities, and at-risk backgrounds. The school is often a last resort for students who have not been successful in public or private schools.
