My name is Duane B. Evans Jr. Founder and CEO of Doing Better than Excellence, LLC a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. 

We are excited to host our 8th annual Fill the Truck Help us further raise awareness surrounding ending homelessness at this year’s event  from 11 am until 3 pm on August 12, 2023 at 5500 Scovill Ave. Cleveland, OH 44104. 

Since the event’s inception, we’ve been able to fill six 17ft U-Haul trucks with items to help homeless shelters and individuals, and this year, we plan on filling even more! However, this event wouldn’t be possible without the support of local companies who provide valuable products and services.

We are requesting the food truck from your organization. Donations we collect will go to the members of the community to help with the efforts of providing better care and provisions for the underserved people in the Central neighborhood. All money made by you will be kept. What better way to promote business and raise awareness.

During the event, there will also be a Back to School Rally. Also, vendors, volunteers, community partners, service providers, and of course the community will be in attendance as we continue to grow our partnership with Shiloh Baptist Church. To show our appreciation and with your permission, your company's logo will be placed on our website for one year with your link connecting.
