The Abundance of Life Organization is a 501(c)3 non-profit with the sole purpose of providing adult and youth social service programs to residents who reside at any affordable housing communities we serve, across the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.  Residents of these housing communities are currently able to take advantage of affordable housing with the assistance of developers who incorporate the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs tax credit program.  This program allows residents affordability in housing when their income cannot support a City of County’s area median income (AMI) level.  Primary beneficiaries consist of 88% of the overall 877-residents who are below 60% AMI.

As inflation rises and the cost of living for the less fortunate becomes increasingly difficult, we’ve identified a necessity in establishing and offering a food pantry at each location serving our low-income affordable housing residents.  With the grant funds we will be able to create a food pantry for the properties we serve.

We are hoping to host an event that will help our residents get ready for a new school year and stock thier pantries. We are in need of a food budget as well as school supplies for 300-500 residents.
