Backdoor Theatre is the only nonprofit community theatre in Wichita Falls, and has been in the same building since the mid-70s!

On Saturday, April 29th, we will host Backdoor Noir - Do-Re-Murder, a fun fundraising event that brings a murder mystery with a twist! Detective McDanger is on the hunt for a killer and brings in a Detective in Training, a local celebrity guest! The twist? Our celebrity guest has no script!

Backdoor Noir will raise funds that directly support Backdoor Theatre, the only nonprofit community theatre in our area. Besides a fun night of fun, food, and theatre, this will be the first event on the Dinner Stage in almost three years! Our Dinner Stage has been out of commission since it flooded in July 2020. Our goal is to raise $15,000; with your support, we know we can reach it!

This year we will be using online bidding software for our silent auction. That means our supporters – even if they can’t join us on the 29th —can participate, showcasing your generosity far and wide!
