In anticipation of our Backyard Barbeque, we’d love to have you donate a Silent Auction gift. Our 300 or so guests will be delighted if you do! In return, we will acknowledge your generosity on our event page and in print. You will also receive the satisfaction of knowing you are helping a young woman turn her life around!

The Hoving Home, now in its 39th year in Pasadena, has the distinctive reputation of transforming lives of the women it serves - women who, prior to stepping through our doors, have faced such struggles as drug and alcohol addiction, incarceration, and prostitution. Thanks to the Home’s year-long program in its onsite Benton Academy plus a lot of love and encouragement, these women gain the skills, confidence and courage necessary to reunite with their families and reenter society.

Of course, we’d also like to invite you to attend the Backyard Barbeque. Our Ladies will be waiting to greet you and show you around our lovely historic property, the former Mira Monte Hotel, built in 1927.
