Each May, Bala House Montessori School hosts a Bala Gala to raise money for improvements inside and outside the classroom. This year’s “Denim and Diamonds” event will be held on Saturday, April 29th at Bala House.

The funds raised at this year’s event will go towards the creation of a children’s vegetable and flower garden. Raised beds, gardening tools, soil, seeds and the installation of a rainwater collection barrel are all part of the exciting project. Our hope is to raise $12K.

The majority of the school’s 60+ families live in the surrounding communities of Bala Cynwyd, Narberth, Wynnewood, and Merion. The rest of our families reside in Philadelphia or other western suburbs.  Our alumni network is large and engaged and we expect 120 people at this year’s Bala Gala.
