The Ask:

We invite you to join other business leaders in the community in demonstrating your support of Womanspace by becoming a sponsor of the Barbara Boggs Sigmund (BBS) Award Dinner this year by being a donating sponsor and/or supplying donated items for our fundraising raffle.

Why:

The annual Barbara Boggs Sigmund Award Dinner is our largest fundraiser of the year, raising critical funds to support our life-changing and life-saving work with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Mercer County, NJ.  It is well attended by members of the Princeton, NJ area and beyond.

Donated items such as season tickets, or a luxury box for a game would be of special interest to the guests in attendance, and will help us meet our raffle fundraising target of $15,000.

Sponsor packages and donated items provide various opportunities to gain visibility through branding on both promotional materials leading up to the event and on the evening of the Awards Dinner.

Background Information:

Womanspace is a non-for profit which supports victims from the moment of crisis through their journey of healing and ultimately to self-sufficiency. Some of their many programs include an emergency shelter, transitional housing, three 24-hour hotlines, individual and group counseling, community education and prevention services, and much more. In 2022, Womanspace provided services to 11,348 individuals in the community.

This year marks the 27th occasion of the annual Barbara Boggs Sigmund award dinner. The keynote speaker is Troy Vincent Sr. who is a former Eagles Cornerback and the current EVP of Football Operations at the NFL. He is an outspoken advocate against domestic violence and sexual assault. Being directly affected by domestic violence, both Vincent and his wife, Tommi, share a passion and commitment to promoting the message of “Leadership Over Violence".
