On Saturday, March 2, 2020, BARC Humane Society will have its 9th Annual 5K Run/Walk - Lost Dog Found 5K.  It will be held in the Valdosta Lowndes Park and Recreation Authority's Freedom Park in Valdosta, GA.  Guests can register in advance on runsignup.com or on-site starting at 7:00 am.  Swag bags will be provided to all participants.  Runners and walkers are encouraged to bring their canine pals.  Doggie bags are available with a $10 donation.  The race will begin at 8:00 am and will be professionally timed.  This year's t-shirts feature art of local artist Ethan Abbott.  We expect to have at least 125 participants.  Pineywoods Veterinary Hospital will be offering reduced price microchipping in a tent on site - thus the name of our event - Lost Dog Found 5K.  We have been advertising on the BARC Humane Society Facebook page that has over 12,000 followers.  We would greatly appreciate donations that can be either given as awards to top runners or provided in our swag bags.  Thank you for your consideration!
