At Labs and More, we rescue the dogs who others can’t or won’t; the dogs who would otherwise be left behind to die on the streets or in over-run shelters. We rescue the dogs who need medical care, the mama dogs who are pregnant or nursing, and the seniors who need a soft place to land for their final years. We give them a safe haven and the medical care they need to become adoptable.

Labs and More is a grassroots network of more than 500 volunteers and 150 foster homes with an overwhelming sense of compassion and love for our canine companions. We believe that every dog deserves a dignified existence, regardless of his or her age, health or breed. 

We need your support to continue doing this life-saving work. Because we are 100% volunteer-run, you can rest assured that every penny raised will go directly to the dogs in our care.

Please consider donating an auction package or item for our annual fundraiser, Bark in the Barn. Raising more than $100,000, Bark in the Barn attracts nearly 400 San Diego dog-lovers each year. Guests enjoy small bites from local chefs, as well as wine and beer tasting from local wineries and breweries. The silent auction is competitive, and ends before guests focus their attention on the equally exciting live auction.
