Australian winemaker Peter Lehmann once said “You can’t make good wine without a dog.” With this in mind, it is so fitting that Chrysalis Winery and Operation Paws for Homes are joining forces for its third annual Bark, Wag & Wine fundraising event. The funds raised will benefit our OPH mission of finding permanent homes for homeless dogs at risk of euthanasia. Bark, Wag & Wine will be held on Saturday, September 26th, 2015 from 11am to 3pm at Chrysalis Winery in Middleburg, Virginia. We had more than 300 attendees last year and are anticipating an even larger gathering this year.
We are seeking donations that will be used for the silent auction and sponsorships that will enable us to support our lifesaving work. Sponsorship packages are as follows; $1000 SPORTING DOGS, $500 HERDING DOGS, $250 WORKING DOGS and $100 HUNTING DOGS. Sponsorships will feature your name in our event program as well as on the event banner (sponsorship flyer is attached). Through our strong social media platform, with over 5,000 adopters, 13,000 Face Book followers, a dedicated audience on Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest your company’s generous gift will be shared with our OPH supporters.

OPH rescues dogs of all breeds and ages from high-kill shelters, and provides foster homes until these dogs can find permanent homes in Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, and southern Pennsylvania. OPH is a 501(c) (3) organization, is 100% donor funded and could not save lives without the dedication of our incredible adopters, fosters, donors, and volunteers. In five years, OPH has saved the lives of almost 5000 dogs. Your sponsorship and support will ensure that OPH can continue to provide the services that save dogs’ lives; transportation from shelters, medical care, vaccinations, spay/neuter services, heartworm or other emergency medical treatments. Your contribution identifies you and your business as supporting the end of senseless euthanasia of homeless dogs in shelters.

Chrysalis Vineyards is dog friendly so come and enjoy some delicious wines while enjoying the event. All admission tickets include a wine tasting, a gift bag and admission to the Silent Auction and entertainment!
