Dear Community Partner,

 

I am writing to you on behalf of Mabel Rush Partners In Education (PIE), parent group to request your support for the Barrels, Bites & Bids for Kids annual auction.  This is a special community event to raise money for Mabel Rush Elementary School.   After having to take time off due to the covid shutdown, we’re excited to bring back our evening of FUNdraising on September 24th, 2022 at the Chehalem Cultural Center, Grand Ballroom in Newberg, Oregon.

 

Mabel Rush is one of Newberg’s largest elementary schools, teaching approximately 375 students.  Our motto is simple, “It’s all about the kids!”.  Partners In Education strives to support and advocate for our children by partnering with teachers, families and our community to create a safe and healthy learning environment where students can excel and feel confident in themselves.

 

In order to meet our budget needs for a successful school year, our 2022-2023 fundraising goal is $50,000. 

With a donation or sponsorship from generous community minded organizations such as yourself, you can help us reach that goal.  Together we can invest in the future of our Mabel Rush students and our community!

 

ALL funds raised will directly benefit students.  Here’s just a few of the many projects we are working on:

➢            Covered area over the playground and improvements

➢            STEM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)

➢            “Artist in Residence”- art project involving the entire student body

➢            Learning materials/programs and extra classroom budgets for teachers

➢            Field trip opportunities to pair with classroom curriculum

➢            New books & improvements for the library

➢            New instruments & improvements to the Music room

➢            Resource room supplies for students & families in need

 

The following are ways you can partner with us:

Donate a gift or service:  Make an in-kind, tax-deductible donation of a service, item or gift card/certificate for our silent or live auction. We have included a donation form for your convenience.

 

Become a Sponsor:  Make a cash donation to sponsor Mabel Rush Elementary for the 2022-2023 school year.  Sponsor levels and benefits are detailed on the included sponsorship form.

 

Your donation will be recognized on all event promotional materials including acknowledgement on the auction website, auction catalog, as well as social media posts on both Facebook and Instagram.

Donations must be received by September 10th, 2022 to be included in the auction catalog.
