Join Saturday, November 5th at Braemar Golf Course to help raise funding for Countryside Elementary PTO annual budget needs and the 2023 playground! 

We have a big year ahead of us at Countryside Elementary, a Title 1 school in Edina, MN as we welcome our new Spanish Dual-Language program (starting with Kindergarten) and growing our Special Education services. Our growing school this year will jump from 600 to 750 students in 6 years! As our building and school enrollment expands, we look forward to creating an outdoor place space that not only encourages all active play, but also has an emphasis on ADA inclusivity and accessibility.

The current playground at Countryside Elementary is over 25 years old and it shows. What was once wheelchair friendly at the time, is now the minimum in accessibility standards. Many items are rendered useless and are no longer being supported by the manufacturer leaving us no choice but to remove the failed equipment without replacement. New equipment and overall playground costs are passed on to the school's PTO like most other elementary schools.

Our parents night out fundraiser on Saturday, November 5th at the Braemar Golf Course in Edina, will focus on raising money for our 2023 Countryside Elementary playground, in addition to other Countryside Elementary PTO needs such as scholarship assistance, classroom and instructional enhancements, staff appreciation and our free, family-friendly community building events. Our event will have over 300 attendees and will feature several silent auction items, games and a playground fund-the-need program.
