I am writing on behalf of The Parent Teacher Association of Port Richmond High School. We are hosting our annual community resource fair and basket auction on June 11, 2022 in our school’s courtyard.. We are requesting donations to be used at this event. We understand that the past few years have been very difficult for everyone. We completely understand that you may not be in a position to donate at this time and do not want to add additional pressure to businesses who are already struggling. If you are not able to donate please simply disregard this letter. If you are in a position to donate any donation would be greatly appreciated.

 Donations will be used strictly for the “Raffle Baskets” which will be visible by all. All baskets will be filled with beautiful donations which will be the highlight of this fun-filled fair.  This event will be advertised publicly for the next few weeks and open to all. All profits earned go to the betterment of all children who attend Port Richmond High School.  Our school is a Title 1 Community School with over 78% of our students living below poverty level. Donations are essential to provide our students with much needed equipment and fund enrichment programs as needed and required. They may also be used to continue to provide educational programs on topics of interest to parents,teachers and students. And  provide scholarships to our students.

Donations can be made in the form of a gift certificate, admission passes, subscriptions, samples, company goods or monetary funds (which will be put toward a “big” purchase i.e. IPAD, television etc.). We are also offering a sponsorship option. Table sponsors can be companies, groups or individuals. They will have large advertisements boldly posted by the tables at our event and quarter, half or full page ads in our program. Sponsor a lower level table for $250 and receive a quarter page ad, a middle level for $500 with a half page ad, or an upper level for $750 with a full page ad. All donors will be listed and thanked on our school website and in the basket guide. 

Port Richmond High School is a non-profit organization which abides by all rules and regulations of the Chancellor and is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service.  Hence, all donations are tax deductible.
