This letter will introduce Erin Windsor, RN who works at Pleasant Day Medical Adult Day Care. The Nursing Department of Pleasant Day is having a Basket Bingo to raise funds so that Pleasant Day participants can go on their annual trip to Ocean City this summer. The participants really look forward to going to Ocean City, sharing Hamburgers and French fries on the boardwalk, with greedy sea gulls, as well as pizza, popcorn, candy, soft ice cream, cokes, you know standard boardwalk fare. We ride the trolley all the way to the end and back, and stop to buy shirts or whatever.

This is something Pleasant Day can do because we have handicapped buses, and staff trained to assist participants to move around safely. And great volunteers who enjoy helping the participants have fun.

Themed baskets each worth $25.00 or more will be the prizes for the Basket Bingo to be at Church Creek Fire Department on Saturday, May 20, 2023. We are asking for donations of gift certificates, a prepared basket of items valued at $25.00 or more or give us items of $50.00 value and we will arrange them in a basket for you. We will advertise your basket and value on the sign in front of the Center, on Facebook, on Flyers and if we have your basket by April 20, 2023 in “Pleasant Thoughts” our monthly newsletter with a monthly mailing of 800.

Pleasant Day Medical Adult Day Care is a 501 (c) 3 a nonprofit listed with the MD secretary of State, under The Dorchester County Commission on The Aging, Inc. and I will give you a receipt for your donation.
