Description
Tri-County Literacy Center provides adults in Warren, Washington and Saratoga Counties of NY with the resources and skills to achieve their literacy goals.
We also provide opportunities for independence and economic mobility by pairing learners with a trained volunteer tutor who works with only one learner at a time. Focusing on one individual, allows the tutor to provide a much richer and focused experience.
Real world, every day issues are used to teach skills including reading comprehension, writing, math and language. We also assist anyone who would like to learn English as their next language or who would like to become a US Citizen.
We are holding an online auction to help support our program.
