The Church of the Good Shepherd, 1370 Grundy Ave. Holbrook, NY 11741, will be having its Annual Basket Raffle & Craft Fair, our primary fund raiser of the year on September 28 & 29.
We are asking you to help make this event a success with a donation.

The Church of the Good Shepherd is a parish of 4,254 families located on Long Island. We
support many ministries and charities in our area. The funds raised at this event will be used to
support those ministries and charities and also help with the upkeep of our building.
We are committed to ALL the people who come to our outreach center or need help from one of
our many ministries without thought of race, creed, sexuality or demeanor.
We offer support with food, counseling, education, information, advocacy and if
necessary financial help.
We make wash-up kits and sandwiches for the homeless
Create prayer shawls & blankets for the ill, those in stress or grieving
Create newborn caps for pre mature babies
Help prepare funerals and offer bereavement groups
Offer wedding preparedness classes
Run blood drives in coordination with the fire dept.
Council those in crisis and with mental health issues
Sponsor two Senior Citizen groups
Sponsor age specific Youth Groups
Sponsor a street hockey league in our parking lot
Support the surrounding community
All donations will be listed in our parish bulletin, and at the Auction. We will also make space next to your donation for literature if you include it. Donations can be sent to the above address.
