Hello,

I am writing for the Edna Batey Elementary School (EBES) PTA. EBES opened as the Elk Grove Unified School District’s 33rd elementary school in August 2003. We are located in East Elk Grove. For a few years now, we have begun each school year with a community-wide fundraiser in the form of a family-friendly, carnival-style event known as Bobcat Bash. This year’s Bobcat Bash event is scheduled for September 15, 2023.

Our festivities include a silent auction of donated items (such as merchandise and services), a "gift card punch," where participants pay a set amount to punch an unmarked hole of their choosing to reveal their mystery prize - a donated gift card worth $20-$50, and a wine pull!

This event’s proceeds will help pay for much-needed school supplies, school events, assemblies, field trips, and transportation for our students. Our goal is to raise $10,000!

All donations received by September 9th will be acknowledged on our event’s printed materials, tagged on our school’s Facebook and Instagram pages, and circulated in our school-wide newsletter.

We would greatly appreciate any donation your company can make. Our school is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, making your donation tax deductible. Our Tax ID number is 26-0067308.
