Snowline Hospice is excited to announce the 5th annual Battle of the Badges, 911 Chili Cook-Off (BOB), on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 4 pm to 8 pm inside the Forni Building, El Dorado County Fairgrounds.

This event includes over 22 First Responder agencies, Veterans, and other government-affiliated agencies competing for the "Best Culinarian" trophy and a trip to the ICS National Chili competition. They will also

compete for People Choice Chili and Best Booth.

We expect over 2500 guests, all enjoying a variety of homemade chili, local beer and wine, raffles, silent auction, business-sponsored booths, children's activities, music, and live entertainment.  We advertise on KCRA, FOX40, a billboard on HWY 50, newspapers, magazines and signs and banners all over the county.

Your item will be featured as a silent auction item.  We thank you on all of our social media platforms and KCRA's Ty Steele (our host) will also talk about you during the event.

100% of the proceeds will support our veterans program, children's bereavement services, and palliative care.
