Broadway Children’s School of Oakland (BCSO) has been a fixture in the Oakland Community since 1952. In a caring and playful environment, BCSO works to help each child build competency in the social, emotional, intellectual, and creative selves that make the whole child. They combine child-centered learning with parent enrichment, cultivating a committed community that offers families a bedrock of support, knowledge-sharing and friendship. BCSO strives to serve a school community that reflects and celebrates the unique and beautiful diversity of the East Bay.
Today, we seek your support to ensure that BCSO continues to flourish for generations of Oaklanders to come. Our annual fundraising efforts has become the primary vehicle to offset operational expenses and enable the school to pay for things such as building improvements and scholarships for families in need.
On March 16, 2024, we are holding our annual auction at the Piedmont Community Hall. In the past, other supporters have graciously donated items such as gift certificates or gift baskets, which will then be placed on auction to help us raise funds. We are crossing our fingers in the hope that you might support us as well!
