On Friday, September 22nd guests will Shine Bright with Big Brothers Big Sisters Peel York at the 2023 Gala Celebration. Taking place at Pearson Convention Centre, guests will be treated to a delicious three course meal, entertainment provided by some local favourites and the opportunity to celebrate our agency's top volunteers, donors and community partners. 
 
We are so excited to enjoy a wonderful evening together. Our silent auction has always been an event highlight and we hope to continue this tradition with a stellar selection of items for 2023. We are reaching out today to request your support. We would be thrilled to accept a donation from Vin Bon Brampton which we are certain will be a top seller and assist us in reaching our event fundraising goals. 
 
Now more than ever it is so important that we protect and support meaningful mentoring relationships for young people. We are committed to continuing our work and finding new ways to deliver life changing, developmental relationships that foster resilience in the face of adversity. We know that exposure at a young age to adversities like trauma, mental health, abuse and loss of a parent can negatively affect the developing brains and bodies of children and youth. Safe and caring relationships are a powerful force in combating these negative effects. This is why Big Brothers Big Sisters is working hard to keep vital mentoring programs available for the young people in our community. 
 
By donating and helping us to reach our fundraising goal of $60,000 you will be helping to provide mentoring and supportive relationships for young people in Peel and York Region.
