We are the Tennessee Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Our mission is to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. I am writing to invite you to be part of this mission by donating an item to our Be The Light silent auction.

Be The Light is our annual benefit concert that uses the power of story and song to shine a light on mental health and suicide prevention awareness. This year’s event will be hosted on May 23, 2023, at the historic Riverside Revival and each of the artists involved have their own connection to the cause. Whether they struggle with their own mental health, or have lost someone to suicide, their stories are a beautiful reminder of the healing power of music.

Be The Light makes it possible for AFSP Tennessee to bring life-saving suicide prevention education to the Nashville community, free of charge. In 2022, we educated over 700 Tennesseans who are now better equipped to recognize the warning signs of suicide in themselves and others.
