Children in foster care need more than just the basics. Giocosa Foster Care & Adoption Services strives to provide children and families in care with extra services and amenities to allow foster children a sense of normalcy, potential for growth, and hope for the future. To do this requires more funding than that supplied by the state. Although we have limitations on funding, our staff is determined to find a way to deliver exemplary services that go beyond the basics.

To fund our goals, we are hosting our first ever FUNdraiser! A pickleball tournament March 6, 2022, at 11am at Chicken N Pickle San Antonio with approximately 50-75 participants. We anticipate raising $5-$10,000 from the event. We would love to be able to include a donation from you to our silent auction or raffle.

Giocosa is a 501(c)3, child placement (foster care) agency, with branches in Brownsville, Hurst, and Round Rock. Founded in 1988, Giocosa began with a mission to provide foster children a secure and loving home, providing continuity in their life, and helping them heal from the past. Throughout the years, we have remained focused on our dedication to that mission.
