I am writing on behalf of the Erskine Lakes Foundation to invite you to make a donation of goods or services to our Erskine Lakes Beach Club Tricky Tray Fundraiser, a non-profit 501(c)(3) event, held at Hilltop Clubhouse in Ringwood, NJ.  During these difficult economic times, we realize that each business owner will need to weigh whether or not this is a good marketing opportunity for his or her business to bring in new customers and to raise awareness of the investment in community-based, not-for-profit youth organizations. We will absolutely understand if this is not financially feasible at this time.  Our fundraiser attracts an average of 225 participants who will each receive a fundraising program.  This program will include a list of businesses that made a donation to our fundraiser, and each donation will be included with the distribution of the ticket sale information to our ELPOA Community.

The Erskine Lakes Beach Club is a volunteer-based and not-for-profit summer youth program. The program uses a youth leadership model for children ages 4-16 with youth over 16 serving as Red Cross certified lifeguards and camp counselors who are supervised by adult volunteers. The youth teach swimming lessons and lead sports activities, STEAM programs, and crafts. The youth often times choose to volunteer in lieu of pay to give back to their community or for school required service hours. The program runs all summer and commences with our large fundraiser to keep the program going. We are fortunate to have a community of volunteers that invests in the youth to keep them active over the long summer. The program model instills many values desirable in good citizens.
