On Wednesday, June 28th, 2023, the Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville will host their 22nd Annual Beauty of the Spirit Luncheon Event. This year’s fundraiser will be an in-person event hosted at The Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY.

 Each year our program celebrates the beauty of the spirit of all women - their strength, compassion, and wisdom. Our guests enjoy fantastic auctions and raffles, as well as an inspirational lecture from a Sister keynote speaker!

 Proceeds from the event benefit our retired and infirmed Sisters - the beautiful and dedicated women who have spent their entire lives serving the people of God; now it is our turn to care for them. The Sisters have spent their lives ministering to so many through education as teachers and principals, as advocates for the poor and marginalized, through outreach for the homeless and hungry, and through preaching by means of spreading their joy and hope of God’s love for all. The Sisters do not discriminate based on gender, race, religion, or orientation, but help all in need.

Proceeds from the event are designated for the needs of our elderly Sisters now residing at the Motherhouse in Amityville, NY. The Sisters rely solely upon donations and/or grants for their ministry work and personal care needs.
