Our annual BEF Gala silent auction is scheduled for Friday, November 21st at the
Candlewood Inn. Our gala is attended by over 120 community members! At the
event we auction off packages which include gift cards, merchandise, tickets, services
and vacation packages. The event proceeds will help fund education pursuits for the entire Brookfield community.
A few of our most recent grant awards for are as follows:
❖ The creation of a Digital Music MIDI Lab at Whisconier Middle School allowing
new methods of music notation and expanding the creative process while exploring
music, podcasting, music composition, and more. This marks the BEF’s largest
funded grant in its 20-year history!
❖ Screenagers documentary viewings and moderated discussions for school-aged
children, adults and families, empowering students and families to find balance in a
digital world.
❖ Daily Morning Announcements Live Broadcast at Whisconier Middle School where
Students will serve as producers, directors, and anchors.
