Description

Town Clock Community Development Corporation (Town Clock CDC), is a team of professionals and volunteers that manages two facilities for survivors of domestic violence. Dina’s Dwellings and the Barbara Littman House provide permanent, safe, affordable housing solutions and social services for
women with low-to-no incomes and their children. Town Clock CDC’s innovative program model is proving that stable housing connected to supportive services is the leading catalyst for improving the lives of survivors. We are one of only 40 facilities of this kind in the United States. Our goal is to inspire and train communities around the country to build similar housing programs, with a goal of at least two in every state.

In order for our work to continue, Town Clock CDC holds an annual fundraising and advocacy event called ‘Being Brave: An Evening Honoring Survivors.’ It is inspirational and designed to honor and support women who bravely pursue safety and well-being. This year, Being Brave is scheduled for Wednesday, November 1st at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick. The Cocktail Hour starts at 6 pm and the Dinner and Awards program begins at 7 pm. The program will include the presentation of four community awards, music performed by local artists, amazing silent auction baskets, and the #ManStand.

We invite companies to join us that night as a sponsor and supporter of ending domestic abuse. We have attached a sponsorship form to this letter. Let me add that last year Being Brave had a sold out attendance of 200 people. This year we will increase the number of tickets to be sold!

Sponsorship will help spread the message of Town Clock CDC and the work we do for domestic violence survivors.
