Heaven's Gait Therapeutic Riding is a non-profit organization located north of Atlanta. We serve special needs children and adults through the use of horses and equine related therapies. The benefits of therapeutic riding are as diverse as the special needs we serve. We currently provide services to approximately 100 special friends each week.

Belly Up for the Barn is an annual fundraising event held to support our therapeutic riding program. Craft beer, food trucks, live music and a large silent auction make this an event many in our community look forward to each year. Currently, we are raising funds to complete an outdoor arena in order to increase ridership. In addition, we seek final funding to purchase a human lift in order to mount riders who are confined to a wheelchair. Finally, no rider is ever turned away due to the inability to pay for therapy so scholarship funding is always a concern.
