The Annual Benefit Bash is a fantastic evening for everyone to enjoy a night of imagination, exploration, and connection as we celebrate the many ways Glenkirk Supporters have been able to enhance the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Benefit Bash, formerly known as the Benefit Brunch, was created by a parent volunteer, Eileen Bennin, more than twenty years ago. Over the years, this event has raised more than $3,000,000 in support of Glenkirk’s programs.

The Benefit Bash has welcomed such guest speakers as former Senator Hillary Clinton, Tipper Gore, Judy Markey, Scott Turow, Dr. James Phillips, Rob Johnson, WTTW’s Dan Protess, Hy Speck, and Emmy Nominee Ron Engler.

Throughout the years the Benefit Bash Committee has been dedicated to sustaining and expanding Glenkirk’s award-winning programs, Next Generation Services, Home Improvements, and Transportation.

A main attraction of the Bash continues to be its grand raffle of over $25,000 in raffle items. Many contributors purchase raffle tickets yearly, even if they cannot attend the event. Prize packages range in value from $100 to $2,500.
