Description

Our city was recently rocked with the heinous murder of Stephanie Krohn in Long Creek, IL (Decatur, IL). She was strangled and then they tried to cover the murder up by setting the barn on fire where her body was. This horrific event has not only rocked and disturbed the residents of our city and rural neighbors; but also her only child's life was impacted in a way that will never make sense.

Her only child is 20 years old and has been left with a gaping whole in their life. They have been left with no way to cover the unexpected costs of the funeral and then moving the belongings from the home of Stephanie Krohn.

We are working on hosting a benefit for the family. I am looking for donations for a Silent Auction. At this time we are finalizing the date with venue, tentatively May 10, 2025.
