The Berkshire Tunebackers hosts a variety of fundraisers throughout the year. Our Basket Raffle is a very exciting one for the families of our students and community members. We raffle off an array of items. All funds raised goes to supporting our rapidly growing music programs! We have our k-4 music program where our kids learn the basics of music. Then we have 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade bands and choir classes. Our middle school jazz band is a new addition to the schools selection of classes. We have our high school concert band and choir as well as our high school jazz band. The high school marching band is fulling funded by our efforts as they are 100% extracurricular. We recently added Berkapella for the high school which is an acapella group. Lastly, we are looking to develop a middle school acapella group as well. Without out the generous donations that we received we would not be able to do what we do for Music in our schools. Recently we purchased an enclosed trailer for our marching band travels, a state of the art traveling sound system so that our students can be heard when they perform. With the predicted growth in our Marching Band we will now need to raise funds for additional uniforms as the batch of uniforms that we purchased 2 years ago is running low.
