My name is Jennifer Kirk. I am a band parent and the bingo coordinator this year. I am writing to you on behalf of the Bethlehem Catholic Marching Band to request your support of our annual fund campaign. 

For generations, the Bethlehem Catholic Marching Band has been encouraging and displaying school spirit at school events, neighboring elementary school pep rallies, and community parades. The band has also performed at various music events across the Eastern United States winning multiple awards. In addition, the marching band annually host the “Little Hawks.” This program includes/invites middle school students to play in the stands during football season as well as participate in a concert with the band. Each of the approximately 50 band students march and play with pride every day. The band members have developed a family community and lifelong friendships. We continue to raise funds in support of the Bethlehem Catholic Marching Band so that the band may continue to grow and gain interest of new students.

Each year we plan multiple fundraisers for the band. We are beginning to plan for our largest fundraiser of the year, Designer Purse Bingo and the best part is that the proceeds will go towards supporting our marching band.

Please consider supporting our event. Your contributions would be an invaluable asset to our organization and will help us add funding to our general fund. These funds will be used to purchase and repair instruments as well as aid in the angel fund that is used for students who are unable to attend the annual band trip due to financial hardships. Past fundraising efforts have also resulted in purchasing new band uniforms. Your support is crucial to our efforts.

Any contribution, no matter the size, will be greatly appreciated. We’re accepting gifts-in-kind of goods. You may also contribute to the event as a sponsor. In return we would be happy to offer inclusion in our event program and social media. If needed, we can provide a letter for the value of your donation for tax purposes.
