Beyond the Bag is the annual fundraising event, hosted by the Baylor Scott & White All Saints Health Foundation, to raise funds for the critical non-medical cancer support services provided by the Joan Katz Cancer Resource Center.  The celebratory evening is filled with dinner, live entertainment, and high caliber auction items, in both the silent and live auctions.  Over the past ten years, Beyond the Bag has raised a total of $2.9 million to ensure that no one has to face cancer alone!

Funds raised from the January 2023 event will support the addition of an animal assisted therapy program to the continuum of services offered at the Center.  Proven to reduce stress, motivate and inspire patients, the unconditional love and attention of a facility dog will enhance the continuum of support services to individuals diagnosed with cancer.
