Sixty million U.S. households own at least one dog; of those, 35 million have less than $1,000 for unexpected veterinary care. An estimated 500,000 dogs are euthanized each year as a result. KodiakCare saves dogs’ lives by providing funding for critical veterinary care to families who lack financial means.

KodiakCare works directly with animal hospitals and currently has partnerships with the
MSPCA- Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, MA; One Tail at a Time in Chicago, IL; the
University of Illinois, Chicago and Urbana-Champaign; Seattle Humane in Bellevue, WA;
Humane Society of Broward County in Fort Lauderdale, FL and Harmony Vet Care in Tampa FL.
