The Kukhoma Project works to restore, equip, and empower women in Zambia, Africa, by running a maternity home for abused, pregnant girls under 15. We are currently the only maternity home in Zambia that admits pregnant children.

Tragically, more than half of all women in Zambia attribute their first sexual experience to rape; and approximately one-third of all Zambian girls will become pregnant as a teenager. For girls whose childhoods have been robbed by pregnancy through abuse, TKP works to restore hope and empower them toward a life not defined by their trauma. Our two-year residential program includes trauma counseling, medical care, vocational skills training, and more.

This year, we are hosting a virtual silent auction from May 2-9 called Bidding for Hope. We are hoping to raise funds to help support our mission and programs for these girls in Zambia through this event. This is where we need your help.
