Description

I am writing on behalf of Pacific School, a public school in Davenport to inquire if you would like to donate to our Bingo/Raffle fundraiser, which is on Friday, April 19th, 2024.  Leading up to the event, we will be selling raffle tickets and promoting our sponsors. Donations received before the printing of our raffle tickets on March 1st will be able to be printed on the raffle tickets.

Promotion of the Bingo Raffle event and businesses includes: posters, Facebook page and nonprofit website.  Depending on the donation received, donations will be included in our raffle drawing at the event or sold in a silent auction at our event.  With our students from various cities in Santa Cruz and San Mateo counties, the promotion of this event and donations will be far reaching.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the school's art, music, theater and other programs not covered by state and federal funding. Over the years we have funded; theater in collaboration with WEST performing arts, a pilot Art in Action program, an orchestral music program, a vibrant garden and lifelab program, our library and teachers grants.  Since 1906, Pacific Elementary School, a public school, has provided several unique signature programs, which make it a leader in innovative experiential learning including LifeLab (school garden), FoodLab (school lunch program), active gifted and talented education (GATE) program which provide a well-rounded hands-on, project-based education, including consistent instruction throughout the grades in technology and media literacy and music. Since the 2019-2020 school year, the school has fully integrated the FOSS science curriculum, which supports students in all grades in directly observing, discovering, thinking, exploring, modeling, and engineering.
