Celebrating our 25th year, Fill a Mind & Heart is a Minneapolis-based non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunity for children ages 4-6 at the Don Bosco School in Dilla, Ethiopia. The school we support serves the poorest of the poor in the community, with special emphasis on young girls who are often denied their chance at learning due to their social status. Our goal each year is to remove the financial burden from local families, providing more than 500 children with access to a quality education, including tuition, school supplies, clean drinking water and a daily meal.

We are holding our largest fundraiser, the Bingo Bash, at the Church of St. Patrick in Edina on April 27th, 2024. It will feature bingo, raffles, auctions and surprise activities, and we hope to raise $25,000 at the event. We are requesting donations in the form of gift cards, tickets or merchandise that we can use as raffle items. Our donor base is socially consious, globally aware, and committed to the belief that education is the key to lifting a child out of poverty.

As an all-volunteer organization, we will ensure 100% of all event proceeds are used to cover school expenses for the first half of the 2024/25 year.
